Role Value Proposition

In support of MetLife’s Next Horizon Strategy, this role performs a variety of strategic planning and governance functions in the Enterprise Relationship Management team. Partnering with the key stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and communicate the strength of our strategic accounts and partnerships, this position includes working closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) on managing holistic client relationships with client support, planning coordination, project management, coordination and drafting of major communications/ presentations, and ad hoc special projects that call for a high level of analytical skills.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong adaptability, problem solving and interpersonal skills to build partnerships with stakeholders and work successfully across lines of business, functions, and geographies to overcome challenges and deliver strategic outcomes in support of MetLife’s Next Horizon strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively builds relationships and assists in account planning activities through prioritization of business and client expectations.
  • Actively communicate with numerous internal stakeholders to understand focus areas, provide information on key trends, connect stakeholders across the business, and proactively identify opportunities.
  • Provides RMs and client support with follow-up items, navigating MetLife, product details and presentations.
  • Responsible for Executive Level reporting and business intelligence for bother ERM and Non ERM accounts, working closely and monitoring (2) GOSC resources.
  • Attends client meetings where appropriate.
  • Handles logistics, prep materials, notes, and follow-ups for SWOT calls and Internal/ external partner calls.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in various business roles with progressive responsibility, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to champion change, inspire a shared vision and promote key values.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable results in a matrix setting through stewardship, influence, motivation, and leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills – including oral and written communications, relationship building, collaboration, and influence.
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility and focus in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of Salesforce platform, a plus.

The wage range for applicants for this position is Min:$80,000 and Mid: $134,700. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, life insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, legal plan services and paid time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
